Southampton, PA, USA, June 14, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - Environmental Tectonics Corporation's ("ETC" or the "Company") Biomedical Systems Group has contracted with Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, GA for the delivery and installation of two BARA-MED(R) "Select" hyperbaric chambers.
"These chambers offer state-of-the-art technology to the technicians and patients. We are pleased Rockdale Medical Center has chosen our chambers to replace their existing equipment", said David Steimle, Southeast Region Business Development Manager.
The BARA-MED(R) "Select" is the only monoplace chamber available that provides a unique gurney garage storage area for optimized space usage and is suitable to accommodate patients up to 700lbs. The BARA-MED(R) "Select" comes standard with O.S.C.A.R. (Operating System for Control and Recordkeeping), the automatic control system which allows for programmable treatment profiles. This also includes the BARA-PRESS software control system which administers the SMOOTH-RIDE(TM) "pressure change technology" curvilinear compression protocol serving to enhance patient comfort by reducing incidences of barotraumas by 67%, and increasing the probability the patient will complete all treatment sessions as prescribed.
