HANOI, Vietnam, Sept 13, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - The 11th annual Hospital Management Asia (HMA) commences today at the Melia Hotel, Hanoi with 817 delegates from 24 countries representing 366 hospitals.
Consistent with its educational mission, the two-day event features 6 Plenary and 38 Special Interest Sessions, a CEO Forum, a Health Leaders Summit, and ten best practice presentations. There are 64 Speakers from 12 countries.
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Xuyen Vice Minister of Health of Vietnam opened the 11th annual Hospital Management Asia. The Ministry of Health supported the event in planning and implementation. Indeed the Ministry's goal in making HMA possible is: "To continuously improve quality of service in hospitals - and to integrate Vietnamese hospitals with the Asian region to develop quality of services as well as management skills".
Hospital Management Asia (HMA) keeps healthcare managers, clinicians and leaders updated on worldwide hospital management thinking and experience. The conference topics are useful "how to" tools. At the same time, there are thought- leading topics, CEO Forum and Health Leaders Summit for senior executives. HMA's mission is to help healthcare managers improve and succeed - while creating a real and virtual forum for regional networking.
An integral feature of the HMA is the Asian Hospital Management Awards (AHMA), honoring hospitals for their best hospital practices. The 35 finalists will be presented and the winners announced at the Gala Dinner and Award ceremonies on September 14 at the Grand Ballroom of Melia Hotel.
