Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has 153 pipeline projects in Asia, while InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) plans to double its Southeast Asian presence, and Accor has planned for 45 per cent of its 104,000 new rooms to be located in the Asia Pacific.
This growth coupled with more tourist arrivals, an increasing number of airlines and a vibrant F&B scene, is testament to the region's ever expanding hospitality industry. The upcoming 19th edition of HotelAsia is well poised to serve this growing demand.
