London, July 9, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Leading international players will gather in Hong Kong on 6th November for the annual Finance and Investment Forum for Datacenters Asia with global providers Digital Realty and Savvis, a CenturyLink Company announced as joint Patrons ( www.fif-asia.com ).
The Forum is the only event in the sector to focus on datacenters as an asset class, and offers significant networking value bringing together senior executives from investors, funds, operators, property specialists, legal counsel and user companies engaged in the sector. An investor breakfast will also take place as a prelude to the main conference.
The objective of the one-day forum is to bring together stakeholders and players in the sector across the finance and investment community, to assess datacenters, hosting and cloud, identify key opportunities emerging in Asia and China, the types of finance available, mergers and acquisitions, debt versus risk and mezzanine financing. Discussion will also cover the different types of funders, lessons from the US and Europe, and financial and business model assumptions.
"Digital Realty is delighted to participate in the Finance and Investment Forum for Datacenters Asia," commented Kris Kumar, Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Asia Pacific. "As the biggest provider of datacenter solutions, we support industry efforts to discuss the opportunities and outlook for the sector and look forward to contributing to the debate. With 122 properties located in 32 markets throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Australia we believe our perspective will add tremendous value to the event."
