DETROIT, MI, Aug 16, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM) today announced that AAM's Board of Directors has named current President and Chief Executive Officer David C. Dauch to the additional position of Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.

Walker, the independent lead director of AAM's Board of Directors.
