PEMBROKE, Bermuda, Feb 28, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.34 per share payable on its ordinary shares. The dividend on Endurance's outstanding ordinary shares will be payable on March 31, 2014 to the ordinary shareholders of record on March 17, 2014.
The Board of Directors also renewed the Company's authorization for the repurchase of up to 5 million ordinary shares in open market or privately negotiated transactions, from time to time, depending on market conditions. The new share repurchase authorization continues through February 28, 2016 and replaces the Company's prior share repurchase authorization, which expired on November 30, 2013.
