| Newly created position will oversee the Global Ethics and Compliance office |
ATLANTA, GA, Mar 4, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Crawford & Company announced today that David Falgoust has been named senior vice president and chief Ethics and Compliance officer; he will oversee the just established Global Ethics and Compliance office, which is comprised of a number of compliance, ethics and audit functions. Falgoust formerly served as a corporate compliance attorney in the office of the General Counsel. No longer functioning as a lawyer, Falgoust will report to Allen W. Nelson in his role as chief administrative officer.

The Global Ethics and Compliance office will be responsible for providing Crawford employees with the information, tools, guidance, training and support they need to comply with Crawford's Code of Business and Ethics Conduct when making day-to-day business decisions. This office will also include ongoing efforts to assess, evaluate, monitor, and audit compliance with the company's ethics and compliance policies and procedures.
Falgoust joined Crawford in 2006 after serving as an attorney for BellSouth Corporation for 14 years. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the Tulane University School of Law as well as Bachelor of Arts and Master of Liberal Arts degrees from Tulane University. He is admitted to practice law in Georgia and Louisiana and serves on the Board of the Friends of First Tee of East Lake and chairs its Mentoring and Enrichment committee.
