Vietnam's Definitive Manufacturing Solutions Trade Event Came to a Rousing Close |
SINGAPORE, Apr 21, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Galvanised by three days of interactions with local Vietnamese players and international industry peers, some of MTA HANOI 2014's prominent participants, including Bystronic, Blum, DMG Mori, Kent, Hexagon Metrology, Mitutoyo, NT Tools, Seyi, Sodick, Star Micronics, Taegutec, Takamaz, TRUMPF, YG-1, Mazak and even the contingent from the Czech Republic Group Pavilion, had nothing but positive feedback on the time invested at MTA HANOI 2014, held from 1 - 4 April last week.

A strong spread of top-notch machine tools
Thousands of interested buyers explored the halls over the three-day event, seeking to forge business relations with key global and local industry players. The widespread of state-of-the-art machining, tooling and measuring technologies and solutions from all over the world, gave visitors the opportunity to level their knowledge with international manufacturing standards.

Fruitful for visitors
In all, more than 4,000 industry attendees, including exhibiting staff, trade visitors, conference speakers and delegates and members of the media came to the trade event, with the bulk of visitors coming from Vietnam, followed by Singapore and Japan. Within Vietnam, majority of visitors came from Hanoi, followed by Bac Ninh and Hung Yen.
"The exhibition was very good; the size of the exhibition was big. I met my existing suppliers at the show as well as set up relationships with new suppliers such as Kasin, Nhat Minh and Viet Thang - we're really impressed by their products. We hope MTA HANOI can be organised every year as it is a very good place for us, and we have plans to visit MTA VIETNAM 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City," says Mr. Teoh Ah Kook, Purchasing Manager at Kein Hing Muramoto Vietnam.
Yamaha Motor, Thang Long Mechanical, Nissei Electric Hanoi, Hung Yen Automotive Spare Parts Manufacturing, Yen Hung Electric Mechanical, Uong Bi Automative Mechanical, Hoa Phat Steel and Lilama and its associated members formed part of the 89 visitor group delegations belonging to some of Vietnam's most important manufacturing sectors.
For Mr. Shirao Shunji, Manager at Nissei Electric Hanoi, the exhibition met his expectations. "I came to MTA HANOI 2012 and come back to MTA HANOI 2014 and can see big improvement on exhibition area, number of machines and high quality of products. The organisers are very friendly and professional. In our opinion, MTA HANOI 2014 is a must attend event for us and other companies working in manufacturing industries in Hanoi. We were really impressed with the supplier from Japan (Sisiku Addkreis Corporation) and intend to buy their products. By the way, we also have a factory in Ho Chi Minh City, so we will also visit MTA VIETNAM 2014 in July. For sure, I will absolutely visit MTA HANOI 2016."

Conferences
Adding to a whizzing exhibition show floor, nearly 250 delegates registered to listen and learn at conferences organised by the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI), the Multi Engineering Solutions Laboratory (MESLAB) and the Vietnam Welding Society respectively.
Through these sessions, industry experts able to share with delegates their insight into the cooperation and development of local mechanical enterprises; technical knowledge of total productive maintenance, laser technology and 3D scan technologies; the various aspects of welding, such as automation, robotic systems, international standards; and also the processes in nuclear power plants.
The next edition of MTA HANOI will be held in 2016 from 26 to 28 April.
