LaRock joins the SolarWinds Head Geek team following SolarWinds' 2013 acquisition of Boulder, Colorado-based Confio, where he served as the company's technical evangelist for Confio Ignite, now SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA). SolarWinds DPA provides comprehensive performance monitoring, analysis and tuning for SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or Sybase databases and features a VM Option, offering users unique visibility into databases on VMware to improve performance and reduce risk for database projects. LaRock now joins four current SolarWinds Head Geeks to support the varied concentrations and needs of the IT Professional community.
