The securing of the regulatory authority's certification not only enhances China Entercom's competitiveness by extending its business scope, but also assists CITIC Telecom CPC's overall business development and enhances its strategic planning. In addition to capturing greater market opportunities in IDC and hosting services, the IDC/ICP license also accelerates the expansion of CITIC Telecom CPC's cloud services. Builds quality data center infrastructure and captures the immense opportunities in the cloud computing market
According to the China IDC industry development report, the market size of the IDC industry in China in 2013 amounted to RMB26.25 billion, representing a growth of 24.7%. The increase was driven by the development of cloud computing and big data business as well as the rise in demand from internet customers.
