VICTOR, N.Y., Sept 3, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ and STZ.B), a leading beverage alcohol company, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Casa Noble tequila brand. The transaction includes the Casa Noble trademark and inventories. Constellation Brands announced its intent to purchase the brand last month. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Casa Noble super premium tequila is a high-quality brand that has posted consistent, double-digit growth. The award-winning Casa Noble family of tequilas includes Casa Noble Crystal, Reposado and Anejo as well as limited production of several other higher-end Casa Noble tequilas.
Casa Noble will continue to be supported by rock and roll hall of famer, Carlos Santana, who is from Jalisco, Mexico - the region where tequila is produced. "I'm excited to integrate Casa Noble tequila into our existing portfolio, it is a natural fit," said Rob Sands, president and chief executive officer, Constellation Brands.
