| First Restaurant In The PRC Commences Operation Total Number of The Group's Restaurants Increases to 61 |
HONG KONG, Feb 18, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Fulum Group Holdings Limited ("Fulum Group" or "the Group" ; stock code:1443), a renowned and preferred Chinese restaurant chain operator in Hong Kong, is pleased to announce further expansion of its restaurant network with six new restaurants in Hong Kong under different brands within just three months after its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in November 2014. Moreover, the Group's first restaurant in the PRC has opened at Mayflower Plaza on Zhong Shan 5th Road in Guangzhou, bringing the total number of its restaurants to 61.
After its successful listing on 13 November last year, the Group has fully utilised the proceeds raised from the listing to accelerate the pace of its development through its multi-brand strategy, further expanding its footprint in both Hong Kong and the PRC. Among all of its restaurants, the MeokBang Korean BBQ & Bar, which targets young customers, reported the satisfactory performance. At the end of last year, the Group has opened the first MeokBang Korean BBQ & Bar in Prince Edward, which has been well-received by customers. To ride on this trend, it plans to open the second MeokBang restaurant in Causeway Bay this year. Moreover, the Group has opened a restaurant under the "Sportful Garden" main brand with a novel design in Tsuen Wan, and other restaurants under the "Fulum" main brand in Homantin, Tuen Mun and Causeway Bay to serve residents of these districts. The Fulum Belvedere Square restaurant in Tsuen Wan has opened in February 2015.
In addition, Fulum Group has opened its first Fulum Palace in the PRC at Mayflower Plaza in Guangzhou. It has selected Zhuhai as the location for opening its second restaurant, which is under construction and is expected to open in the second quarter of 2015. Going forward, the Group intends to continue to execute its development plans, actively raise the brand awareness of Fulum Group and expand its customer base and market share.
