TOKYO, Mar 13, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - JCB Co., Ltd.("JCB"), the only global payment brand based in Japan, is pleased to announce that it will open the JCB Plaza Kyoto customer service center for visitors to Japan on April 1, 2015. Located in the Kyoto Station Building, and designed to provide a calm, tranquil atmosphere based on the Japanese concept, the new JCB Plaza Kyoto offers JCB services to support travelers such as sightseeing information, restaurant and hotel reservations, free internet browsing and daily baggage check.

The first JCB Plaza was opened in Paris in 1990 and now there are 62 Plazas located in popular destinations around the world serving more than 200,000 JCB cardmembers a year. JCB Plaza Kyoto is the second Plaza in Japan after JCB Plaza Tokyo to provide unique JCB hospitality and travel support to the increasing number of visitors coming to Japan.
JCB is creating a range of cardmember benefits in addition to the new JCB Plaza Kyoto to respond to customer demand such as offering Travel Japan Wi-Fi[1] and JCB Global Wi-Fi[2] for improved internet access in Japan. The JCB cardmember-only internet site "JCB Plaza Web" provides information on discounts and other special offers available to cardmembers at shops, restaurants and other facilities at popular spots in Japan in multiple language.
