Mr. ZHU Gong Shan, Executive Director, Chairman and CEO of GCL-Poly, said, "GCL Solar is focused on enhancing its in-house R&D capabilities and strives to implement the best-in-class technologies in the production of polysilicon and wafers. We have recently leased office space in Richland, Washington, USA for the purposes of setting up an R&D center. We chose this location due to relatively easy access to engineers and solar industry experts as well as the availability of advanced technology support facilities to assist in our R&D activities. We intend to recruit the best talents to help us improve on the efficiency of our polysilicon production process, develop advanced technologies to drive the build-out of a world-class wafer business, explore cutting-edge solar technologies to ensure future growth and profitability, as well as form strategic partnerships with world-class engineering and technical firms.
