L.R. Capital Prioritizes Investment Focuses into China

HONG KONG, Apr 19, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - L.R. Capital, a leading global investment and alternative asset manager with branch offices in North America, Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China, today announced it decided to priorities the investment focuses into the Greater China.

On March 23, L.R. Capital announced its cornerstone investment commitment in GF Securities H-Share IPO for US$ 250 million. GF Securities starts roadshow for its initial public offering in Hong Kong to raise up to US$3.6 billion, the largest listing in Asia so far this year.

With the attractive discount and valuation, the deal has generated strong interest from institutional investors. Among the cornerstone investors, Taiwan-based Fubon Financial has bought US$300 million, while L.R. Capital, the second largest cornerstone investor, has taken US$250 million of the shares.

According to news sources, this cornerstone investment in GF Securities indicates that L.R. Capital Group has decided to strengthen the scale of its investment in the Greater China and will be working harder to provide its current investment team with strategic coordination and development opportunities in China.

L.R. Capital's Global Advisory Committee consists of a few industry leaders and representatives, including Soul Htite, Co-founder of Lending Club and SinoLending, and Marcellus Wong, the former Head of taxation at PricewaterhouseCoopers Asia. L.R. Capital acts as a linkage for resources and capital by connecting China and the international markets, with focus in a wide range of sectors, mainly financial services, new energies, and technologies, in both developed and developing economies.
