HONG KONG, Aug 31, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - HNA Group announced that the ceremony to commemorate the exchange of contracts between HNA Investment Holding Co, Ltd and KanAm Grund Group for the acquisition of 30 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London was successfully held at 40 Bank Street in Canary Wharf, London on 28 August.

This acquisition marks the first major acquisition by HNA Group in London. 30 South Colonnade is a landmark office building at the core of Canary Wharf, one of London's major financial districts. The building extends over 10 storeys, with a total area of 305,600 square feet and is the European headquarters for Thomson Reuters.
Located near other notable tenants in Canary Wharf including Citibank, HSBC, Northern Trust, and Morgan Stanley, it is prominently situated near the centre of the Canary Wharf estate and is regularly featured in the media with the Reuters digital ticker tape providing the backdrop.
As the largest economic center of Europe, London is recognized as the springboard for entering the European market. The acquisition of 30 South Colonnade by HNA is an important step for building its European portfolio, and will also promote the international image of HNA.
