SINGAPORE, Dec 3, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Singapore presents more than 1,050 hours of compelling Asian stories made for the global audience at the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) and ScreenSingapore (SS) 2015. This includes more than 180 titles from over 70 Singapore media companies at the Singapore Pavilion, located at Level 5 Grand Ballroom, E08 and H08, Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
The delegation at the Singapore Pavilion comprises production and distribution companies like Clover Films, Beach House Pictures and Sparky Animation.
Trade visitors at ATF and SS will be treated to a diverse range of programmes from Singapore, spanning the genres of factual, drama, infotainment, lifestyle and children's.

Following its long-standing partnership with America's The Jim Henson Company on successful animated series "Dinosaur Train" (season 4 is currently in production), Singapore's Sparky Animation has announced a co-production deal with Presto Digital Limited (UK) for "Rhythm Warriors", a fantasy comedy series calibrated to entertain while encouraging the audience to intuitively learn fundamentals of music education and appreciation.
"Ella Bella Bingo" is an animated series about little Ella, who manages to get herself and her friends out of sticky situations in creative ways. The series is co-produced by Singapore based August Media Holdings, and Norway's Kool Produktion AS. Ella Bella Bingo's 2 nominations in the Asian Television Awards 2015 -- "Best 2D Animated Programme" and "Best Preschool Programme" are a nod to the quality of the programme.

"7 Letters" is an anthology of 7 short films by 7 Singaporean directors: Eric Khoo, Royston Tan, K. Rajagopal, Boo Jun Feng, Tan Pin Pin, Jack Neo and Kelvin Tong. "7 Letters" represents heartfelt 'love letters' from these directors to Singapore, with themes ranging from lost love to inter-generation relationships to identity and more. The project was also selected as Singapore's entry for "Best Foreign Language Film" at the 2016 Oscars.
"3688" is Singapore director Royston Tan's first feature film in 7 years since the musical-themed 12 Lotus. The touching film centres on parking attendant Fei Fei, who has always dreamed of becoming a singer, like her famous namesake - the legendary Taiwanese singer Fong Fei Fei. "3688" made its international premiere at the Busan International Film Festival 2015 and was recently screened to full-house audiences at this year's Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival.
FLY Entertainment's "My Love, Sinema" is a love story that transcends generations. Set in Ipoh, Malaysia and Singapore, "My Love, Sinema" stars Tosh Zhang, Cheryl Wee and Jeff Wang, and is produced by Flora Goh of Scout Pictures. There will be a meet-and-greet session on 2 December, 5-6pm at the Singapore Pavilion, where the media and guests will get the chance to meet FLY Entertainment's Founder and CEO Irene Ang, as well as Tosh, Cheryl and Jeff, and find out more about the film, slated for release in the third quarter of 2016.
Travel back in time with "Long, Long Time Ago". In the film, protagonist Ah Juan is driven out from her husband's home on 9 August, 1965. Her struggles in raising her new born twins are juxtaposed against the challenges faced by Singapore in its year of independence. "Long, Long Time Ago" is directed by acclaimed Singapore filmmaker Jack Neo and is expected to be released in 2016. 1 movie, 4 stories - "4 Love" is an anthology by 4 up-and-coming Singapore filmmakers: Raihan Halim, Gilbert Chan, Sam Loh and Daniel Yam. Each director tells a story of love through the experiences of teenagers, young adults, mid-lifers and the elderly. "4 Love" is expected to be released in 2016.

"Crescendo" by WaWa Pictures is set against the xinyao movement, synonymous with young Singaporeans pursuing their dreams in the music industry during the 1980s - a formative period in Singapore's culture. "Crescendo" follows the story of a group of xinyao music enthusiasts as they manoeuvre the unpredictability of the local music industry.
"Lion Moms" by Ochre Pictures traces the lives of three mothers. Though they come from different backgrounds, the "lionesses" have a common goal: to provide the best for their children.
"Code of Law" is an intense drama that offers viewers a glimpse into Singapore's criminal justice system through the eyes of police investigators and defence counsel. Each week, a team of investigators must race against time to solve a homicide and bring the perpetrator to justice. "Code of Law" is produced by Weiyu Films.

"Spelling Armadillo" is a heart-warming tele-movie about a boy Tom and the rediscovery of his self-confidence. The Oak3 Films production is nominated for International Emmy Kids' Awards 2016 "Best Kids' TV Movie/Mini-Series", making it Singapore's first nomination in that category. With "Counting with Paula", 3-6 year-olds can learn about numbers, counting and shapes with protagonist Paula and her friends as they go on adventures in exotic places. "Counting with Paula" is produced by Omens Studios, and is nominated in this year's Asian Television Awards for "Best 3D Animated Programme".

"Wild City" by Beach House Pictures, which showcased the little-known side of Singapore and its wildlife ecosystem, aired on Singapore's Channel NewsAsia in March this year to much acclaim. With the third episode of "Wild City" currently in production, Beach House Pictures is developing a new concept "Wild Cities". "Wild Cities" will be given an international spin, and it plans to uncover the amazing animals and eco-systems that exist in the middle of some of the world's most populous cities, including Mumbai, Sydney and New York.
"SupermodelMe Sirens" by Refinery Media is a multi-platform reality series in which 12 aspiring models of Asian heritage compete for a chance to launch their career in the fashion industry. "SupermodelMe" is currently in its fifth season and the series was previously nominated at the International Digital Emmy Awards and the Apollo Awards, and also at this year's Asian Television Awards.
"The Food Detectives" returns for a 3rd season with its light-hearted and informative take on the food we eat. Produced by activeTV and distributed by factual outfit TVF (UK), the series has proven popular not only in Singapore but also on channels such as Nat Geo People. Season 3 is expected to broadcast in the 1st quarter of 2016. Host Nikki Muller is nominated for "Best Entertainment Presenter/Host" at Asian Television Awards 2015 for season 2 of "The Food Detectives".

"The Violin" by Robot Playground Media is a touching short film about an old violin that graces different stages of Singapore over 80 years. Its music bears witness to a young country's transformation - from the bustling 1930s to the sweeping political changes in the 60s that led to its independence and finally, present day.
In "Mr Moon", join its namesake character and his best friends as they explore planets, stars, constellations, galaxies and more. "Mr Moon" is co-produced by Sparky Animation, Skaramoosh (UK) and Title Entertainment (Canada).
The "Dream Defenders" follows twins Zane and Zoey on their adventures as they defeat monsters from nightmares and fears who try to break into the real world. "Dream Defenders" is produced by Tiny Island Productions.

At Sneak Peeks, which takes place at the Singapore Pavilion on 2 December from 2-4pm, international buyers will be treated to a preview of film, TV and animation projects to before they premiere in 2016.
The titles include documentaries like "Wild City" and "There Was A Time 3"; children's animation like "Shutterbugs" and "Leo the Wildlife Ranger"; feature films like "4 Love", "Long, Long Time Ago", "Mr Unbelievable", "Before The Fall" and "The Moment".
