Grundfos Appoints New Group Executive Vice President for Business Development

Denmark, May 20, 2016 - (ACN Newswire) - Grundfos has appointed 49-year-old Swiss Ernst Lutz as new Group EVP for Business Development. He has solid international experience from for instance multiple executive positions in Sulzer and latest as the CEO for EIT RawMaterials.


Ernst Lutz is a mechanical engineer and has a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and an Executive MBA. He has thorough knowledge about the pump industry and deep experience with innovation, technology and engineering.

Ernst Lutz comes from a position as CEO for EIT RawMaterials. Previously, he has held key positions in the Sulzer Group, latest as Chief Technology Officer, CTO. Prior to that, employment in Rio Tinto Alcan, Alcan and Alusuisse brought him to Shanghai and Paris, among other places, where he has had the responsibility for technology and development in different positions.
