Toyota City, Japan, Aug 30, 2016 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results for July 2016, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd.

Toyota
- First decrease in three months

- Third consecutive month of increase

- Decreased

Sales in Japan

Toyota
- Fifth consecutive month of increase
- Lexus vehicle sales totaled 4,105 units (6.5 percent decrease)
- Minivehicle sales totaled 2,508 units (1.4 percent decrease)
- 52.5 percent share of market excluding minivehicles (4.7 percentage point increase)
- 36.2 percent share of market including minivehicles (3.9 percentage point increase)

Daihatsu
- First increase in two months
- Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 47,200 units (9.6 percent increase); first increase in two months
- 35.3 percent share of minivehicle market (5.1 percentage point increase)

Hino
- Fourth consecutive month of increase
- Standard truck sales totaled approximately 2,400 units (4.7 percent increase); Fourth consecutive month of increase
