JAKARTA, Sept 9, 2016 - (ACN Newswire) - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise of Republic of Indonesia proudly presents Indonesia Business and Development Expo (IBDExpo) 2016 on Sept. 8-11, 2016 in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Organized by National Publishing and News Corporation (NPNC), a SOE cluster spanning of Antara News Agency, Balai Pustaka, PNRI, and PFN, IBDExpo 2016 was inaugurated by Vice President of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla.
IBDExpo 2016 is an international trade exhibition designed to promote the business partnership and to accelerate the economic growth through the trading, investment, and tourism. Beside the exhibition as its key offering, the event also features a number of side events, namely international conference featuring the Temasek and ICBC, Ministerial Lectures, ASEAN News Agency declaration, business matching, customer gathering, job fair, Exhibitor Award Ceremony, and SME Pitching.
"IBDExpo is the right place for SOEs to promote themselves, interact with society and the business sector, and explore the business opportunity. Also, it plays a significant role to build the public awareness on the achievements, innovations, and creativity of SOEs in developing the nation," said Minister of SOE, Rini Soemarno.
Furthermore, IBDExpo 2016 is catered to be a representative forum not only for the SOE sector, but also for the entire business landscape in Indonesia as it is participated by 118 SOEs from all over Indonesia ready to expand their business nationally and internationally. The visitors may expect so many innovations presented by the SOEs, such as military products and Anoa tank by PT Pindad, ships manufactured by PT PAL, a mock-up of the high-speed train of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China, and the flying simulators by PT Dirgantara Indonesia, to name a few.
