Toyota City, Japan, Nov 29, 2016 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results for October 2016, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd.

- Lexus vehicle sales totaled 3,816 units (7.2 percent decrease)
- Minivehicle sales totaled 2,896 units (29.7 percent increase)
- 49.4 percent share of market excluding minivehicles (1.7 percentage point decrease)
- 32.5 percent share of market including minivehicles (0.5 percentage point decrease)

Daihatsu
- First increase in two months
- Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 46,800 units (0.4 percent increase); first increase in two months

- Decreased
- Standard truck sales totaled approximately 2,300 units (4.6 percent decrease)
