Clarification Statement on the Dispute between Birmingham International Holdings Ltd and Seymour Pierce

HONG KONG, Apr 16, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - Birmingham International Holdings Limited ("Birmingham International" or the "Group", SEHK: 2309) announces a clarification statement. Reference is made to various articles recently appearing in British newspapers which stated that judgment had been obtained by Seymour Pierce against Birmingham International Holdings Limited relating to outstanding fees in connection with the acquisition of an interest in Birmingham City plc in 2007.

Birmingham International Holdings Limited acknowledges that it has been in litigation with Seymour Pierce disputing the payment of fees and that summary judgment had been obtained by Seymour Pierce in relation thereto. This is only a summary judgment without a trial. Birmingham International Holdings Limited is currently seeking leave to appeal the decision. Birmingham International Holdings Limited stresses that the amount in dispute is immaterial to it and if payment is required to be made, will not have any material adverse effect on its financial condition or business. It is stressed that Birmingham International Holdings Limited has not and will not lose control of Birmingham City Football Club as a result of this litigation.
