SINGAPORE, July 1, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - This year, ad:tech Singapore 2010 culminated successfully as more than 1,500 congregated at Asia's largest media and marketing event. In its third year, ad:tech Singapore was a major success with 6 keynote sessions and 24 different engagements and learning opportunities with industry icons, veterans and leading brands from all over.
In line with ad:tech Singapore 2010 providing a global perspective, the event this year saw more than 40 per cent of the attendees coming from abroad over the two days, a sharp increase from the number of overseas participants last year. With diverse backgrounds and various geographical representations, the ad:tech environment proved to be an ideal networking and business platform for marketers to share global best practices.
In his appreciation and acknowledgement of ad:tech's role in the industry, Andrew Pickup, Chief Marketing Officer of Microsoft Asia-Pacific emphasized on how ad:tech as an event epitomized the future of marketing, highlighting the importance of collaboration where brands and customers engage in defining and co-creating unique and compelling value. "ad:tech Singapore has developed into a valuable forum for brands, agencies and industry suppliers to connect, interact and create value for customers", he said.
Francesco Lagutaine, Chief Marketing Officer, Citi Asia Pacific, also voiced his strong support for ad:tech. This year, more organizations were seen embracing embrace digital marketing and making use of ad:tech Singapore not only to actively seek and explore different methods to overcome their marketing challenges, but also to hear insights first-hand from the movers and shakers of this industry.
Apart from returning exhibitors such as Google and Yahoo!, the event also saw a slew of new exhibitors this year, such as Estorm Technologies. The Small and Medium Enterprises' (SME) Business Solutions provider applauded the event for helping it extend its network in Asia and providing the opportunity to generate potential business leads not only from Singapore, but from Malaysia and Indonesia as well.
