SINGAPORE, Nov 17, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - The short list for the annual IR Magazine South East Asia Awards, which recognize excellence in investor relations and shareholder communications, has been released and CapitaLand has received the most nominations in six out of the 14 categories. SingTel, United Overseas Bank and DBS Group Holdings each received five nominations.
This year's nominees come from a range of different sectors and market-cap sizes, including telecoms, finance and real estate. A full list of this year's award nominees is available below, or on our website at www.irmagazinesoutheastasia.com
Nominees and winners are determined by combining the results of two key surveys: IR magazine's annual investor perception study, the world's largest survey its kind, covering more than 5,000 analysts and investors; and an independent survey of buy-side and sell-side analysts and portfolio managers, conducted by Thomson Reuters Extel Surveys. The winners will be announced at a prestigious event at Singapore Stock Exchange on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Leading companies will be recognized in categories including best investor relations professional, best corporate governance and best investor relations for a corporate transaction.
The event will be hosted in association with BNY Mellon Depositary Receipts, Singapore Exchange and the Investor Relations Professionals Association (Singapore) and is co-sponsored by Extel Surveys, Ipreo, PR Newswire Asia, Standard Chartered Equities and the Wall Street Journal Asia.
