| One-stop PV Systems implementing Off-grid Electrification Strategy |
HONG KONG, Aug 8, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Trony Solar Holdings Company Limited ("Trony" or the "Company", stock code: 2468.HK), China's largest and the world's leading manufacturer of thin film photovoltaic ("PV") modules, is pleased to announce that the PV power generation systems provided by Trony to the "26th Summer Universiade", whose grand opening will be staged in Shenzhen on August 12, were officially put into operation. This one-stop off-grid electrification solution enables the city to open its arms to the whole world with a brand-new image as a green energy metropolis.
In response to the low-carbon idea advocated by the Universiade, Trony provides a total of 59 sets of solar power supply systems to the volunteers service stations ("U stations") distributed in each district of the city to supply around-the-clock electricity to power such appliances as lights, televisions, and electric fans, so that volunteers could have a comfortable environment to offer all-round services including information consulting, propaganda and emergency for domestic and overseas tourists as well as local citizens.
