| Melanie Barstad Joins Cintas' Board of Directors |
Cincinnati, Oct 19, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) announced today the appointment of Melanie W. Barstad to its board of directors. Ms. Barstad was elected by the shareholders at the company's Annual Shareholders' Meeting, held this morning at Cintas' corporate headquarters in Cincinnati.
Ms. Barstad spent 23 years with Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, a diversified provider of consumer products, prescription medicines and medical devices with more than 250 operating companies located in 60 countries throughout the world. While there, she served in several leadership and management roles, including President of Acute Care and most recently, President of Women's Health in the Medical Device and Diagnostics Division. Ms. Barstad also served as co-chair of the Johnson & Johnson Women's Leadership Initiative.

As a member of Cintas' board, Ms. Barstad will serve on the compensation committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee. She is also actively involved with her alma mater, Auburn University, serving as Vice Chair of the Directorship Committee of the Foundation Board, Chair of the Women's Leadership Advisory Board and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the College of Liberal Arts.
