HONG KONG, Oct 19, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Quam Limited ("Quam" or the "Group", Stock Code: 00952.hk), a Hong Kong-based financial services group, today announced the appointment of Mr CHAN Tze Leung, Robert as an Independent Non-executive Director, members of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee of the Group effective immediately.
Mr CHAN is an experienced banker with over 38 years of experience in commercial and investment banking. He is a Chief Executive Officer of United Overseas Bank, Hong Kong. Mr CHAN is an independent non-executive director of Hutchison Port Holdings Management Pte. Limited, a trustee-manager of Singapore listed Hutchison Port Holdings Trust and Singapore listed Noble Group Limited. He is also a senior adviser to Long March Capital Limited, a fund management company based in Beijing and Shanghai in partnership with leading Chinese institutions including CITIC Group. He is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.
Meanwhile, Mr Douglas Howard MOORE has resigned as an Independent Non-executive Director, members of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee of the Group effective immediately.
