HANOI, Vietnam, July 6, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - NEC Solutions Vietnam (HQ in Hanoi), a subsidiary of NEC Soft (based in Tokyo) and NEC Asia (based in Singapore), announced today that Mr Hideki Tominaga has been appointed as its new General Director.
Mr Tominaga joined NEC Soft Ltd. in June 1980 and spent the next 15 years working in the Systems Division, Second Systems Engineering Department. His experience includes working in the Distribution and Service Industry Systems Division, Retail Solutions Division and Overseas Solutions Division.
With his new appointment and responsibilities, Mr Tominaga said, "NEC Solutions Vietnam is into both system integration business as well as software development business. These two core business arms are closely related and dependent on each other. As such, NEC Solutions Vietnam will be focusing on building up both our system integration and solutions development business in order to enhance our total solution business."
Mr Tominaga further adds, "This new assignment is a very exciting one for me. To be located in this growing economy, NEC Solutions Vietnam will strive to grow along with our customers here and we hope to help empower our customers through NEC innovations and thus help them to grow beyond the Vietnamese borders."
Besides holding the position of general Director of NEC Solutions Vietnam, Mr Tominaga is also the Associate Senior Vice President of NEC Soft Ltd. He succeeds Mr Toshio Morita, who has been the Chairman and President for NEC Solutions Vietnam since it was established in April 2006. Mr Morita will be retiring after his fulfilling stint with NEC Solutions Vietnam.
