- NetCracker Discovery & Reconciliation, Resource Inventory and Network Planning & Design to Optimize B2B and B2C Fulfillment and Assurance - |
TOKYO, June 3, 2015 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation and NetCracker Technology announced today that Turkcell Superonline, a leading data, voice and video service provider in Turkey, has opted to use NetCracker solutions to improve and optimize B2B and B2C service fulfillment and assurance and drive operational and business agility. Turkcell Superonline is the only provider in Turkey to offer high-speed, ultra-broadband services to residential and business customers, including 1,000 Mb/s Internet access for residences and more than 10 Gb/s for businesses.
NetCracker will deliver its Discovery & Reconciliation, Resource Inventory and Network Planning & Design solutions to enable this large-scale transformation in collaboration with NEC Turkey. The NetCracker solutions will improve Turkcell's end-to-end fulfillment and assurance processes, help Turkcell increase operational agility and strengthen Turkcell's SLAs for business customers, enhancing its leadership in time-to-market and service quality.
"In order to provide high-quality customer service and enable faster time-to-market, we needed a strategic IT platform for the management of the network and systems. The implementation of one central inventory with discovery and reconciliation capabilities for all network layers will be an important step in planning and installation," said Erdogan Bayrak, IT Governance & Enterprise Capabilities Manager at Turkcell. "By leveraging NetCracker's OSS solutions and services, we will be able to drive greater operational and business agility."
The NetCracker Discovery & Reconciliation, Resource Inventory and Network Planning & Design solutions will accelerate Turkcell's time-to-market and make more efficient use of its diverse network resources. NetCracker will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and integration of the NetCracker solutions, as well as the migration of customers from several legacy systems to the new platform. NEC and NetCracker were selected to carry out Turkcell's vision to enable an OSS transformation beyond just resource inventory by using NetCracker's TOMS best-of-suite approach. Ultimately, Turkcell chose NetCracker because of its superior products and comprehensive expertise in integrating its solutions with heterogeneous environments and vendor offerings.
"Turkcell was one of the first companies in the world to provide a superfast 1,000 Mbps broadband service and continues to bring a diversity of IPTV and enterprise service innovations to market," said Cengiz Karabalik, Sales Director at NEC Turkey. "With NetCracker's Telecom Operations Management Solutions, Turkcell will be able easily validate resource availability to drive future growth and manage system redundancy to maximize uptime."
"We are excited to help Turkcell leverage the full capabilities of our sophisticated OSS solutions and services, which will open new opportunities for growth and success in the future," said Sylvain Seignour, Vice President of Global Sales at NetCracker. "This transformation not only represents our deep-rooted commitment to service providers around the world, but showcases NEC's and NetCracker's unparalleled ability to deliver cutting-edge fulfillment and assurance technologies and enable next-generation business operations."
