SINGAPORE, Nov 10, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - A special CEO Forum will be held for the first time during this year's Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR) on November 18, Wednesday, 9:00am 10:30am, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The forum will be conducted by Dr. Bradley K. Googins and Shelly Esque. Organizer Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is extending complimentary invitation to all CEOs for the said forum.
Every year, AIM brings together world-renowned speakers from over 20 countries to share their expertise and insights during the AFCSR. To make better use and harness the authority of some of the speakers, AIM is introducing the special forum with topics aimed at benefiting CEOs in an atmosphere of quality and interaction.
Dr. Googins will discuss the topic on "Private-Public Sector Partnerships". His presentation provides an insightful look on the relationship between business and society in the Asian setting. Dr. Googins is the executive director emeritus at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, and professor of Organization Studies at the Carroll School of Management also at Boston College.
Esque, (global) vice president of the Legal and Corporate Affairs of Intel Corporation, will discuss climate change and what Intel is doing about the issue. Her presentation will involve climate change as both a business responsibility and a business opportunity. Using a multi-faceted approach on the topic, participants will discover how Intel is addressing the complex issue on environment through its operations, products, as well as through collaboration and innovation.
Interaction with the audience through Q&A will precede the presentations. To register for the CEO Forum, e-mail: Ms. Grace Bantaran at: gracebantaran@oiceventsasia.com or fax to (632) 819 3752. For more information, call (632) 812-6289 or log on to www.asianforumcsr.com.
