HONG KONG, Feb 4 - Celebrity Leon Lai returns as Ambassador for this year's Entertainment Expo to be held in Hong Kong from 14 March to 4 April.

The HKTDC invited renowned photographer Cheung Man-wah to shoot the promotional photo series, while Mr Lai directed the video himself with Mr Cheung serving as director of photography. The video uses the "Translucent Splash" concept, creating a colourful background to echo the message that the Entertainment Expo aims to delight spectators with a rich and diverse programme of activities.

"I'm happy to serve as Entertainment Ambassador again," Mr Lai said. "The Entertainment Expo, covering a global mix of film, television, music and digital entertainment, is a grand annual event with lots of fabulous activities open to the public. As a member of Hong Kong's entertainment industry, I welcome everyone's enthusiastic support."

The 12th edition of Entertainment Expo adopts the theme of "Get into the Scene". Among the 10 events featured in the video, three are founding industry events: the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART), the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) and the Hong Kong Film Awards (HKFA). There are also seven core events: the Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), the Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival (HKAMF), the IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award, ifva (Incubator for Film & Visual Media in Asia Festival), the Asian VFX and Digital Cinema Summit, the Digital Entertainment Summit and TV World International Forum.
