NEC to Strengthen Its Open Stack-based Cloud Infrastructure Solution Portfolio

TOKYO, Feb 22, 2016 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) today announced its partnership with UBIqube, a leading network and security orchestration software vendor, to reinforce its portfolio of Open Stack-based cloud infrastructure Solutions "NEC Cloud System (Open Source Software building model)."

By adding UBIqube's MSActivator(TM) Orchestration Framework to NEC Cloud System, NEC will be able to address increasing demand from enterprises and service operators seeking an orchestration agent, capable of managing emerging networking trends such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), while also providing easy management of legacy multivendor networking hardware.
