NEC to Participate in MVNOs World Congress 2016

TOKYO, Apr 6, 2016 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) today announced that it will participate in MVNOs World Congress 2016, from April 11-14, at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

At stand 17, NEC will present a broad range of solutions that help Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) deliver an enhanced customer experience, including its latest Traffic Management Solution (TMS) and vMVNO Gateway Solution.

At this conference, Masayuki Kayahara, Department Manager, Carrier Services Division, NEC Corporation will make a presentation titled "How can MVNOs reduce their operational costs and improve customer experience at the same time? Introducing a Traffic Management Solution for MVNOs." The presentation will be held on Wednesday April 13 from 12:25-12:45 at Stream A: Service Differentiation & Customer Experience Management.

"MVNOs' challenges are to minimize packet loss/throughput degradation at the time of congestion and to curb the exceeding bandwidth capacity leased from mobile network operators due to skyrocketing traffic usage," said Masaaki Nakano, General Manager, Carrier Services Division, NEC Corporation. "NEC's newly launched TMS meets the MVNOs' needs to improve Quality of Experience (QoE) for end users and to facilitate the effective use of network bandwidth at the same time."
