TOKYO, Sept 5, 2016 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation (TSE: 6701) today announced that JSC NEC Neva Communications Systems (NEC Neva), a wholly owned subsidiary, and JSC Russian Racecourses have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. The agreement enables the companies to cooperatively explore opportunities in fields that include Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the modernization of electronic and multimedia systems for sports facilities and stadium (hippodrome) infrastructure.

The MoU was signed by Akihiro Sakurai, the Managing Director of NEC Neva, and Nikolay Isakov, the General Director of JSC Russian Racecourses. The companies have agreed to communicate, hold joint conferences and round tables, as well as to organize a series of work meetings with the aim of developing programs of mutual interest.

"We believe that the exchange of accumulated experience and information as well as the implementation of joint research with JSC Russian Racecourses will contribute to the resolution of company challenges and the launching of valuable new services to the market."
