Tokyo and Bangkok, July 11, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - NEC Corporation (NEC) announced today that NEC Corporation (Thailand) Ltd., a subsidiary of NEC in Thailand, has entered into an agreement with Amata Corporation PCL (Headquarters: Bangkok) that NEC will provide new SaaS cloud services for corporations and companies located at the Amata Industrial Estate in Thailand. The new service is planned to commence mid-July.

Amata holds the two largest industrial estates in Thailand, Amata Nakorn and Amata City, with a total area of approximately 4,600 hectares that can accommodate 650 companies on site. Amata will support NEC offer a wide variety of applications as services, such as web based conference systems, groupware and HR and salary management from data centers to Amata's tenant.

Amata is currently offering such services as power and water supplies for companies located within its industrial estates.
