HANOI, Vietnam, Feb 7, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - Vietnam's steadily growing manufacturing industry will see the need for expertise in managing the resources of local enterprises and enhancing the productivity of its factories. To augment the visitor experience and maximise value to exhibitors and visitors, MTA HANOI 2012 will bring an insightful conference alongside the exhibition when it opens in March 2012.
The MTA HANOI 2012 Conference will be held on 29 - 30 March 2012, the second and third day of the show. Featuring experts versed in lean management, Six Sigma and the Toyota Production System (TPS), these speakers from the Capacity Building International (CBI), Continuous Improvement Consulting JSC (CICC) and Hirayama Japan respectively will be sharing their perspectives and expertise on using lean management and TPS methodology to improve productivity and quality for Vietnamese local enterprises.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Thien, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Testing Laboratories (VINALAB) will deliver the opening address. VINALAB assists its members to enhance standards and testing solutions, as well as contribute to improving the quality of Vietnamese goods in the world market. The main objectives of the organisation are to augment the domestic testing laboratories' capabilities through research, training, production, business, management and customer protection; ensure the safety, sanitation, health and environment; develop the industry and promote scientific and technological progresses in the industry.
Other notable speakers include Mr. Hori Junji, a former director of Toyota Vietnam and currently Consultant of Hirayama Japan; MBB Pham Thanh Dieu, Chairman - Deputy Director of CICC Lean, Six Sigma Training and Consulting; and Dr. Eng. Nguyen Tien Dong, Consultant of CICC. The one-and-a-half day conference will offer Vietnamese industry professionals a complete overview of TPS, Lean management and Lean Six Sigma concepts and methodology, and help to bring the capabilities of Vietnam's manufacturing sectors to a higher level.
